Two cues tell you an event is running
An event never hides in a menu. It writes itself across the dish in two places at once.
- A banner with an instruction, centred over the balls. It names the event in capitals and gives you one line under it: grab the slingshot and knock the witches off their brooms, or selling pays the usual again when a Gold Rush ends.
- A countdown badge in a screen corner. It carries the event's name and a clock, and it stays for as long as the event lasts. Gold Rush sat in the bottom-left of the screen with a SELL arrow beside its timer; Blood Moon sat on the right.
The dish does not stop for any of them. SPLIT and SELL stayed usable in every frame we read, so the reaction is something you do while the loop keeps running - not a mode you enter.
TIP
Read the second line of the banner before you press SELL. That line is the whole task: it says which button the event wants from you.
Blood Moon: mutation rolls double
The banner reads BLOOD MOON! and under it BALLS MUTATE X2! MOST TURN BLOOD MOON. A corner badge carries the same name with a countdown - one frame read 01:26 left on it.
This event changes what your balls become, not what they pay on their own. When the dish fills during a Blood Moon, twice as many mutation rolls land and most of the results are the Blood Moon strain itself. Two consequences follow, and both are on your screen rather than in this text:
- Split during the event rather than banking an empty dish. Whatever doubles has to be produced while the banner is up, and a dish that is already full has nothing left to roll.
- Read the PAYS line on the balls before you sell the batch. A ball that turned Blood Moon pays whatever its own card says, and that number is the only one that applies to your sell.
Rotten can also land on a roll, and players describe rot spreading when a mutation doubles: "if you don't have the disable rot upgrade it sometimes doubles and you can't cure the rotten halls". The cure window and the field names are on the mutations page; what matters during a Blood Moon is that a doubled batch carries more chances of both.
Gold Rush: selling pays more until the timer ends
During a Gold Rush the corner badge counts down and points at the SELL button. When the timer runs out the banner says exactly what changed: GOLD RUSH OVER, then SELLING PAYS THE USUAL AGAIN.
That end line is the useful half of the event. It tells you the boost lives on the sell button and that it is temporary, so the batch you are holding is worth more inside the window than outside it. In the 21 October recording the countdown badge still read one minute left at 14:06 and the end banner appeared at 14:12.
Two things we did not read, and do not guess at: the size of the boost, and whether it multiplies every ball or only some. Read the payout on your own first sell inside the window, then decide whether the rest of the batch waits for the next Gold Rush.
WATCH THE TIMER
Do not start a long split chain you cannot finish inside the countdown. The badge is the deadline, and a batch that lands after it pays the usual amount.
Witch Hunt: the game hands you a slingshot
The banner reads WITCH HUNT! with GRAB THE SLINGSHOT AND KNOCK THE WITCHES OFF THEIR BROOMS underneath. A GRAB! prompt with a slingshot icon appears in the bottom-right corner of the screen, and grabbing it arms the shot while the witches cross the sky.
This is the one event that competes with the dish for your pointer, because the prompt sits in the bottom-right corner while the witches cross the sky. If the banner catches you mid-batch, finish the sell in front of you before you reach for it. We did not read a reward figure for a hunt, and no frame showed what a miss costs, so neither is claimed here.
The CLICK FAST critter
A small creature appears beside the dish with CLICK FAST! written above a green meter. Tapping it fills the meter, and a full meter reports CAUGHT! in the same spot.
We never read this event's name, its payout or what happens when the meter runs out - only the prompt, the meter and the success label. Treat it as free money that costs a few taps, and do not abandon a sell to chase it: the meter and the SELL button compete for the same hand.
Glitch: popups that cover the dish
The banner reads GLITCH X2! and the screen fills with small system-window popups marked OOPS!, each with an OK button. Balls caught in the event turn into the Glitch strain; one ball's odds label read 1/10K.
The popups are the actual problem: they sit over the middle of the screen, which is where the dish and the buttons are. Close them as they appear, then go back to splitting. Because the balls that turn Glitch are worth reading individually, check the PAYS line on the batch before you sell it.
Trick or Treat and the pumpkin counter (Halloween season)
In the Halloween build the dish adds a seasonal event on top of the usual ones. The banner reads TRICK OR TREAT! with GET READY. and a countdown number over a candy jar, and a PUMPKIN PATCH badge can run at the same time as the others.
Alongside it the interface carries a pumpkin counter next to your Cash and Tokens, and jack-o'-lantern balls pay +1 PUMPKIN on top of their own payout. That much was readable in the frames. What we could not read is what pumpkins buy: no recording we hold opens the pumpkin spend, so this page does not claim a reward list.
The event we have not seen: Meteor Shower
The creator description names three events in one line - survive gold rushes, blood moons, meteor showers. We have frames for the first two and for four more events the description does not name. We have no frame of a Meteor Shower in any recording we hold, so this page says nothing about how one behaves. When one lands on your screen, the two cues above still apply: read the banner line, then read the corner timer.
One routine that covers every interrupt
- Read the banner's second line. It names the action: SELL, GRAB THE SLINGSHOT, or nothing but a notification.
- Glance at the corner badge for the clock, so you know how long the window lasts.
- Do the action the banner names, inside that window.
- When the event ends, read the batch's PAYS line again before your next sell. The end banner tells you the payout is back to normal, not that the batch changed back.
What this page could not read
- Meteor Shower: no footage at all, so no behaviour is claimed.
- The size of the Gold Rush boost, and whether it applies to every ball in the batch.
- What a Witch Hunt pays, and what a missed witch costs.
- The CLICK FAST critter's name, payout and failure state.
- Whether events are server-wide or land per player, and what triggers them - time, sales or random rolls. The banners never said.
- Where pumpkins are spent, and what they buy.
Each of those is a gap in our material, not a "no" about the game. Read the banner on your own screen and it will answer most of them faster than any page can.
